We have heard your pleading and Incom is happy to indulge the wishes for another Middle Earth event and if you can’t beat the Monster spam, you may as well join it.
Details
Incom Gaming: MESBG Monster Mash is a 700 point MESBG tournament held at Incom Gaming on Saturday 3rd May. The tournament consists of three games held over a single day using the scenarios in the core rule book. (This could change to a matched play guide if one is released in good time for the new edition)

Schedule for the Tournament
Registration: 9:30am - 10:00am
Game 1: 10:10am - 12:00pm
Lunch: 12:05pm - 1:05pm
Game 2: 1:10pm - 3:00pm
Game 3: 3:05pm - 4:55pm

Army Composition:
Players will build their force from a single Army list to the point amount of 700.
For this tournament you will need:
Your 700 point army
Any sourcebooks with rules for your models. (FAQ’s for these are also useful although they will be on hand)
A copy of The Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Rulebook
A copy (paper or digital) of this rules pack
A copy of your 700 point list (paper or digital)
Measuring tape, dice, writing implements and any
Objective markers that you’ll need to play
Army Restrictions:
Each Army MUST contain at least one Model that has the keyword MONSTER
If you choose to build your force from an army list that cannot take a model with the Keyword MONSTER, then depending on your allegiance you must do the following.
GOOD army lists must purchase one ENT warrior for 100 points from p27 of Armies of LotR. It may not take any upgrades.
EVIL army lists may purchase a Mordor Troll warrior for 90 points from p155 of AoLotR (it may not purchase a drum).
These Monsters count as being part of the army list but do not change any keywords and must be part of your Generals warband.
For this event scenarios that include vps for banners MONSTER's will count as a banner for the points of scoring.
Models must be, wherever possible WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) i.e. model representation must be used. In the case of “counts as” conversions or weapon swaps, please let us know what you’re planning ahead of the event and anything within reason will be accepted. Also please make sure to inform your opponents at the start of your games.
Models must be fully painted and based.
Please send in your army lists by at least 23:59 on 26/04/2025. They should be sent either by email to shop@incomgaming or uploaded onto the Longshanks event
Please indicate on your army lists who is your leader is and what army you are using.
Please note this event has no connections to GBHL and is NOT a GBHL scoring event.
